n that the real estate market of China is not very mature yet in the short term. 40 per cent of the responding people believe that the Chinese real estate market is unstable and above 50 % of the respondents feel that the Chinese market is developing and moving towards maturity, however, no respondents believed that the Chinese real estate market is mature. The above results are shown in the table 1 given below.

6.2 Preference on Investment Channels

Real estate market and the stock market are two main sectors to invest for Chinese investors.
It has been shown by questionnaire that 40 per cent of the respondents choose to invest in the Chinese real estate market while another 40 per cent respondents would prefer to invest in stock market, which has been shown in table 2 below.
A very few people wanted to invest in the open end funds and in establishing their own enterprises. These results correspond to question number 7 of the survey form.

6.3 Attitudes of Chinese People on Risks in Real Estate Sector

It has been surprisingly discovered that 27 per cent of the respondents are risk lovers when asked about their attitudes on risks, reflecting the fact that the new generation of Chinese population is different in minds and behavior from their previous generations.

The percentages of their different responses are shown in figure 4 given above, the results of which correspond to question number 4 of the survey form.
The tremendous increase of real estate prices provides an opportunity to be wealthy and rich over night. Most of the Chinese younger generation would prefer to take risks because they believe that high earnings always associated with high risks.

Most of the Chinese younger generation considers risk to be an opportunity and thus, having the perception that the higher returns are associated with higher risks. Also, the today’s generation of Chinese people deep in their hearts still finds it hard to reject the tradition Confucianism on the basis of obedience, submissiveness and conventionality whereas on the other side they also admire the new rich who keep on emerging perpetually, they also find that western venturous spirits are strongly attracted towards Chinese real estate market, the adventure stories of great rich inspire them and they also wish to catch such an opportunity for themselves. China is now going through a period of wealth admiration.
The investment behaviors are partially influenced by Chinese culture that advocates taking risks.
