and take risks on their own when asked about the possible actions facing the high risk investment in real estate. And only 26 per cent respondents chose to remove the risks, the situation of which has been shown in figure 5 given below. Chinese people are far more interested in gambling their luck and waiting for the emergence of best results instead of paying for accidents that will happen in the future according to Liu et al. (2007). Surprisingly, there are extra 2 per cent of respondents chose to abandon investment opportunities due to the high risks involvements, the situation of which can be explained by the changing trend in the behavior of the youngsters in China. The above results are corresponding to question number 5 of the survey form.

6.4 Risk Management Perception in China

The concept of risk management has spread and wildly accepted by Chinese investors as the advanced western management concepts were introduced to China in last century.
98 per cent of the respondents have heard of risk management process while 38 per cent actually knew the process of risk management according to the online survey in this paper, the results of which correspond to question number 6 in the survey form.
Most people in the real estate business has acquired the perception that risk management is of great importance to the success of industry. The estimated normal weight of the risk management importance on the basis of the responses obtained through the online survey is 3.45 out of full weight of 5. however, only 14 per cent respondents from the real estate corporations have implemented the risk management techniques, reflecting the fact that the concept of risk management has not developed quickly like other management tools due to the lack of risk awareness and operational difficulties in the actual usage. The results that responding to Question 6 have been shown in table 3 below.

On the other hand, the risk awareness of the Chinese real estate corporations did increase and has realized the significance of risk management because the estimated general weight is 3.14 out of the full weight of 5. Many avoidable risks that involve in the real estate sector can be eliminated and reduced through proper risk management. In the real life, practitioners have met difficulties in deciding risk management tools for quantifying and controlling risks, the situation of which can also be reflected in the survey of this paper. It has been found that 57.78 per cent of respondents felt that it is difficult to select appropriate risk management techniques for quantifying the risks and there are 30.3 per cent respondents met difficulties and problems in controlling risks. The above findings have been shown in figure 6 given below, the results of which correspond to question number 13 of the survey form.
