Experiment  one’s  findings  are:  1)  under  both  Type  1  and  Type  2,  Chinese  speakers mentioned more paths than that under the control condition; 2) under both Type 1 and Type  2,  Chinese  speakers  tended  to  distribute  path  information  in  the  main  verb;  3) only under Type 1, did Chinese speakers distribute manner information to subject; 5) only  under  Type  1  did  Chinese  speakers  be  primed  to  produce  the  same  syntactic structure ([AP_N ] _V _NP) as that in the prime sentence. So  experiment  one  found  that  when  the  preferred  linear  order  of manner-before-path  is  not  disrupted,  only  the  manner  information  and  path information  are  deliberately  distributed  to  dis-preferred  linguistic  locations  (path  in the  main  verb  and  manner  in  subject),  the  activation  of  abstract  event  structure  not only influences Chinese speakers’ choice of path information but also has downstream effects on how manner and path information are distributed to linguistic location and the syntactic structure of the event description.
