The hospital management wants to combine the roles of porters, domestics and catering staff. As a result these employees will be multiskilled and they can be able to do all the cleaning, transporting patients, moving equipment, serving food etc. There may also arise some problems while implementing this plan the employees may become confused what to do now. Moreover there was lack of leadership in implementing the strategy as well as the employee was not well motivated.

The change will raise the pay of the workers and the inequalities in payment will be removed except management teams. This is obviously a policy which will motivate the employee to accept the plan implemented by the management. But there are some complicated issues as the works will become more complicated and the worker especially the porters and domestic workers needs to provide more effort to accomplish their duties on the other hand the waiting time for patients will decrease this factor has a great impact in implementing the plan because this will demotivate the employees to do their job. One thing more as an employee need to perform various kinds of activities it will become difficult for them to be efficient in the job.

The management of the hospital wanted to establish the group work method, all the porters and domestic stuff will be divided in small groups which will be controlled by the supervisor the member will report to the group leader and the group leader towards the supervisor. Group work policy is one of the very effective process of accomplishing the works this work system will motivate the employees to complete their work will more efficiency and there will be less hesitation what should do and what not. This will make the employees more confident and motivate them to become more efficient.

There is one problem with the work-policy as the worker is multiskilled and they need to perform various types of works sometime they may deny to do some specific job. There are also some gender issue problems some worker refuse to undertake cleaning duties because they think this as woman's work. According to some manager 'Porters believe the girls are going to be running off doing portering duties all the time and they are going to spend all their time cleaninga€|.. and they got these views from the union'. This problem arise because the problem in the leadership and motivation. The employee need to have some leaders who possess the personality to influence the workers that no works are only for woman everyone is same. On the other hand, there is one most important factor the union. While designing the plan to change the management needs to consider the union, because the union has a great role in motivating and controlling the employees. So the better way is that to plan and share it with the union leaders. Motivating the union leaders is also work well in successful implementation of plan. Sometimes the change might not much profitable for the employees but profitable for the organization in these types of situation it is very much necessary to motivate the union leaders to help the management to implementation the plan.

There is one more issue that is rota system. In the changed plan of the hospital all the work will be based on rotas each employee will be appointed rotas through the board, and the employee will be able to apply for the rotas they wanted.
