Thus the selection process is structured in St Patrick’s nursing home and the best suited candidates should be selected for the vacant positions.

To explain the interaction system in the teams the help of the Bruce Tuckman's 1965 team-development model can be described. The model has four stages Forming, storming, norming and performing.

The stage “forming” is the initial stage of formation of the team .In this process, the primary interaction of the team members is which the leader of the supervisor of the teams.(Armstrong,2006). In this phase a polite interaction happens among all the members in the groups or a team. A very well organised communication occurs in this phase and the team members become aware of the challenges and the opportunities in the job roles. In this phase the employees come to know about their team members and try to settle in agreement for the goals to be achieved by the group of employees.

This can be cited with the help of the examples. A team is being formed by the newly recruited emergency doctor, the newly recruited nurse as well as the administrative staff who is deputed newly in the emergency department.

Each of the members in the team are more interested to learn about their job responsibilities and formal interaction in a polite manner takes place while understanding their job roles.

The “Storming” is the phase in which the group is assigned with tasks and the team tries to solve it effectively. In this phase there are chances of conflict in which every team member come up with different ideas. In this phase the new team in St Patrick’s Nursing Home try to come up with new ideas and would like to dominate each other in the team. This causes conflict and dissatisfaction of the team members in order to perform the said task.

The guidance from the supervisor is fetched at the times of crisis or conflict and the team members are advised to be more patient in order to make the team successful.

In the “Norming” phase, the team members take a normative approach and agree to communicate openly. In this phase the members of the newly recruited team in the St Patrick's nursing home agree to sit and discuss the issues and the problems regarding the conflict. This may help them to come up with some adjustments in work habits and the attitude of the team members.
