This report aims at analyzing the possibility for Elders Livestock to enter the local market of Thailand and tries to make up a workable entrance project for the company’s Marketing in this new target market. The plan starts with the analysis of the business situation of Elders Livestock in Thailand, including the analysis of the political, economic, social and technological factors of Thailand. Some rough sketches of the procedures of implementing the plan will also be presented in this plan.
1. Introduction
Elders Livestock is an influential agribusiness companies in Australia. The company provides a variety of products of rural agriculture, mainly meat and milk products. The company was established in 1839 and has been in service in Australia for more than one hundred and fifty years. The major markets of Elders Livestock include the Asian-Pacific countries and regions. So, both the domestic and overseas markets are important to Elders Livestock. In order to expand its influence upon the overseas market, this plan proposes the international marketing of Elders Livestock in Thailand. The plan includes the situational analysis and the detailed processes in communicating the product quality and the export of live cattle, sheep and goats to the local market of Thailand.

On the whole, the marketing plan of Elders Livestock should observe the local conditions of the country. This necessarily includes the cultural traditions of the country and also the consuming behavior of the local people. The political, economic and technological conditions of the local market of Thailand are also crucial to the smooth implementation of the marketing plan.
