PartⅠ. Introduction  引言

    It is well known that some people are more successful than others in foreign language learning. In recent years there has been extensive study of individual differences in learning a foreign language, which helps explain differential success among learners. Among the individual differences, motivation has been considered to be one of the most important factors in foreign language learning.
According to Gardner(1985), motivation                                                                 involves fours aspects: a goal, effortful behavior, and a desire to attain the goal and favorable attitudes towards the activity in question. Motivation is the power that supports us to attain our goal. When we persisted in doing a business, motivation is the root that gives us energy to continue the work.
