The comparison between Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited and The royal bank of Scotland——based on the view of services

I.  Introduction

As the bank which owns the largest asset scale in China , through the twenty years’ reform and development ,ICBC has already achieved to attract the major of the target customers in China, about one billion customers and eight million one hundred thousand corporate accounts. Twenty thousand branches and tree hundred ninety million employees are available to offer high-quality service for clients. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited has also provided a wide variety of services: foreign exchange products with wholesale , retail , ebanking and international business.( Armelle Guizot,2007) From my observation, the main target customers of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited is citizens throughout the country, in other words ,the new Chinese middle classes are becoming significant consumers. In terms of the employees of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, they are made to take a professional training before they get the job. The employees are asked to work from 7:30am till 9:00 pm. They have to be polite and patient ,thus they are able to face all kinds of customers at all ages. The slogan of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited is “ by your side as your trust ”. To remain competitive with the international competitors and other Chinese banks, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited tried to remain innovation and sustainability.
