Introduction
Tourism is a sunrise industry, the rapid development of many countries around the world. The government of different countries used all the means available to promote tourism, and achieved very good results. I choose Macao as a destination due to its unique characteristics of tourism resources and MGTO (Macao Government Tourism Office) has spent a great deal of energy to promote Macao’s tourism development in the past years. We all remember that the economic crisis (1998) and SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in 2003), it brought a huge influence on tourism line. Now is the same situation happens to tourism industry again, financial crisis and H1N1, this is the reason leading to the tourism industry downturn. Tourism is a product of a harmonious society. People must have enough money to sustain their lives other than that can be used to travel. No matter people are travel for leisure or business, they all need to rely on tourism industry. Tourists in ancient were travel with very simple structures of organization, in nowadays; tourists are pay more attention to the standard of the services, the quality of the tour facilities, and how talent of employees work in the field. It is not very easy to achieve the goal of satisfaction in today’s visitors.

Macao as a part of Chinese territory since everything start at the beginning. Geographically speaking, Macao is located on the south-eastern coast of China in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong province. It is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China. It was administered by Portugal for 442 years, first as a trading post, and subsequently as a Portuguese territory, until its handover to China in 1999. This particular history cause Macao on behalf of Chinese and western cultures successfully.Tourism is the backbone of Macao’s economy, since the MSAR’s establishment the government has created a stable and peaceful society.
