摘要:本文是英语教学法论文,本文在大量理论研究的基础上结合自己的学习经验及相关教学知识进行了一次小规模的实验研究,旨在探究参与式教学法是否可以提高学生的听力能力;是否比传统听力教学更有效更能激发学生;学生在听力课堂是否能实现真正的参与。

ll sense of listening content. From above sense, listeningcomprehension is a decoding process. The bottom-up model can be proceeded in thefollowing forms :( 1) Make a fast check on the input material and recognize familiar wordsand sentences. (2) Put the speech flow into several sections like putting “afriendofmine”into “a friend of mine” to understand this speech flow is made of four words.(3)Recognizewhere the center part of sentence is located through phonetic characteristics. (4) Cut thesentence into pieces according to grammar characteristics like cutting [ the girl whom I fallin love with]into [ the girl] [whom I fall in love with]not [ the girl whom ][I fall in lovewith]. The foundation of bottom-up model is listeners’ lexical and grammatical competence.Listener’s lexical competence is like a “ dictionary” in listener’s mind. When listenersheard a word, they will look up the meaning in the dictionary. At the same time, listeners’grammatical competence can be viewed as a system of work strategy for analyzingthe material they heard.

Chapter IV Results and Discussion

In the last chapter, the author has made a rather detailed introduction of the researchmethodology and a specific explanation of the listening procedure. It lays a solidfoundation for the experimental results. If we say experimental procedure is very important,the experimental results are much more important for it provides visualized data and directinterview answers. In another word, quantitative and qualitative data of pre-test, post-test,student feedback form and interview have been collected to prove the hypothesis raised atthe beginning of the research methodology. In this part, data analysis of listening test,student feedback and interview results will be presented for the further discussion andconclusion.

1. Results and Discussion of Listening Test

The purpose of having a pre-test and post-test in experimental and controlled class isnot merely to get the students’ score, but to make a comparison between EC and CC beforeand after experiment.
