摘要:英语是重要的基础和高等职业院校每个专业的必修课,对英语教学可以提高学生的素质,在满刻度,这不仅是非常显着,为学生开阔眼界,并保持整个世界都在查看以及形成全面的专业能力,同时也为他们的进一步研究和发展是非常重要的。

ncern about it. Teacherburnout is just the appearance, and the inner reason is partially because the teaching situationin vocational colleges is worrying. Now English teaching reform is in the ascendant, afterreading a lot of literatures, analyzing the research data and from the point of the author's ownexperience,the present paper arrives at the following conclusions:First of all, English teacher bumout is quite serious in vocational colleges. Emotionaldepression, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment have made Englishteachers lose their enthusiasm and interest in teaching. The English teaching situation invocational colleges is not encouraging, which is one of the immediate causes leading toteacher bumout. Teacher bumout undoubtedly affects teaching quality, which made a viciouscircle be underway.
In addition,as far as English teaching is concerned, the writer finds that the main causesrelated to English teaching leading to teacher bumout in vocational colleges are as follows:the teachers' conditions, the students’ conditions, the teaching material and the evaluationsystem. Accordingly, some approaches are put forward: to make clear the educational conceptand teaching methods, to help students be aware of the importance of English, to adopt thegradation teaching, to develop school-based teaching material and to establish flexible andscientific evaluation system. These measures aim at reforming the English teaching invocational colleges to help it be out of dilemma and find a way to alleviate teacher bumouttogether with other measures.
