Since lexicographer's work is above all a descriptive activity,recording usage rather than laying down perspective or numerous rules about howwords should be used or which words are to be avoided, we can only find somescattering clues to the grammatical differences between BrE and AmE in dictionaries.As for such questions as whether grammatical differences have been introduced indictionaries specifically or not, how they are presented and if there are any other betterdemonstration ways, we will explore in this thesis.
