ABSTRACT


This dissertation studies the problems of Chinese enterprises on incentive system, mainly focusing on the monetary incentive and non-monetary incentive, further discussing the relationship between these two kinds of incentives and exploring how to balance them avoiding one-sided situation in incentives.

本文的研究对中国企业的激励制度存在的问题,主要集中在货币激励和非货币激励之间的关系,进一步探讨这两种激励和探索如何平衡他们的激励,避免片面的情况。

Research questions include: (1) What are www.51lunwen.org/humanresource/ the current incentive systems adopted by Chinese enterprises at present, and what’s the influence on the employees’ enthusiasm? (2) What are the employees’ real demands and how to put forward effective countermeasures and methods to motivate the employees’ enthusiasm effectively? (3) How to set up feasible scientific inventive program, the incentive measures and security measures?

Documentary study, questionnaires and interviews are adopted to collect the primary data and secondary data of the incentive systems of Chinese enterprise. Through the analysis of documentary study, questionnaires and interviews, major findings can be got then the problems of current incentive problems of Chinese enterprises could be drawn. That is: (1) lacking strategic thinking when designing incentive system; (2) compensation and welfare system need to be improved; (3) non-monetary incentive is often neglected; (4) lacking of effective training system; (5) the promotion channels for employees is poor.

The results of this study showed that: (1) countermeasures should be adopted to improve incentive effectiveness, including satisfactory monetary salary, accurate job analysis, scientific performance management and efficient control system; (2) measures of avoiding one-sided situation in incentive is quite important to enhance the effectiveness of incentive system.
