摘要:本文主要介绍了学习型组织和人事管理的有关内容。本文还介绍了不同学者对学习型组织不同的定义,企业的人事资源管理、竞争力、战略以及前景等。

al tyres in 1972 as the customers already realized the importance of radial tyres over the traditional tyres. Customers can be one of the most important sources for the latest taste and trend of the general wants in the business market (Business customer relationship management).This customer involving can be very beneficial in the business. It is evident from the case study that the time when firestone (1972) started making the radial tyres it was too late as the customers were already using the radial tyre produced by other company that was of better quality as compared to firestone. Another issue raised in the case study is that even though firestone started to make radial tyre but they used old belted tyre production line to produce the radial tyre. They used this method to decrease the cost input. However they did not thought about the low quality that this old tyre production line would prepare. As a result of safety concerns these radials tyres could not survive in the market and lead to the disappearance of firestone. The decision taken by firestone was an example that indicates that there was no learning taking place in the organisation as they did not adapt to change and another reason can be the incoming of recession along with the development of their competitors.
Firestone should have used some leadership traits that could have proved beneficial for them. Implementing coaching leadership could have helped the leaders in the organisation to clearly distinguish and determine the roles and tasks of the employees which includes the implementation of the strategies of the followers (Paul Hersey and Kenneth Banchards, 1960)


Another reason for the downfall of firestone could have been ineffective human resource policies. Organisational success depends completely on the improvement and the innovative ideas and approach of the individual employees (Warsaw, polland).Evidence suggest that the employees of firestone did not worked to deliver the goals and vision and mission statement of the company. Another problem could be the improper encouragement and feedback from the mangers to improve and deliver the vision and mission of the company.


In a learning organisation there is continuous learning and improvement of skills that increases the experience which is then used to increase Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of the individual which in turn is then accessible to the whole organisation. PESTLE analysis is one of the most important tools that helps an organisation in decision making and helps in developing the future goals. Firestone did not show any symptoms of implementing the PESTLE analysis. However if firestone could have used the PESTLE analysis it could prove beneficial for them in decision making along with the proper identification of the current competitive market. Firestone also lacked team learning since case study suggest that there were various factors that were the barrier to learning since they lacked communication which in turn hindered the transfer of ideas among the individuals.

In order to prove to be a learning organisation, a company needs to learn and improve continuously. Organisation theories suggest that proper environment of workplace has a great influence on the satisfaction level and staff retention.
