1. Introduction

1.1. The origin of BSC
The Balanced Scoredcard (BSC) is developed by Robert Kaplan who came from Harvard Business School and David Norton who came from Nolan Norton Institute. In 1990, the U.S. Nolan Norton Institute set a year-round project to study a new performance evaluation model. Kaplan and Norton led their team to study 12 corporations including Advanced Micro Devices, Apple Computer Company, Du Pont and General Electric. The cause of this https://www.51lunwen.org/jrfx/  study was the people who hold the view that the financial performance indices were no longer effective to the modern enterprise organizations. Kaplan, Norton and these corporations believed that relying on the financial performance indices would affect the ability to create the corporation value. They discussed several alternatives and finally made idea of Scoredcard which comprehended the performance index of the whole organizational activities (2002). That, is the following concept called Balanced Scoredcard. Almost half of the top 1000 corporations in Fortune Magazine had adopted this Balanced Scoredcard, and Harvard Business Review has listed it as the one of the 75 most influential concepts in 20 century.

Conclusion

With the arrival of the era of knowledge-based economy, there is a big change of the internal and external environment of the enterprises. And the key to scientific evaluation of enterprise operating performance is to establish a suitable index system and to adopt a reasonable evaluation method(2010). Therefore,the Balanced Scoredcard emerges as the times require and and develop prosperously.In this article,we summarized the theory of Balanced Scoredcard in the first part. Then we make an deep analysis of the misapplication and the development tendency of Balanced Scoredcard. And we think that the Balanced Scoredcard will be used more and more scientifically and wildly.
