The survey of postoperative physical and mental heath in patients with Breast Cancer: a long-term follow-up study
Ⅱ Purpose of the study
To investigate the physical and mental heath in postoperative breast cancer patients ：a long-term follow-up study of two years.
Ⅲ Significance of the study 
Nowadays, Breast Cancer have been one of the most series cancer to women. And Breast Cancer brings women serious physical and emotional side-effects, especially a change in size or shape of the breast causes women less confidient. All of the postoperative breast cancer patients have different degrees of mental distress, so the improving of the level of physical and mental health of the postoperative breast cancer patients should be important. The result of my study will provide a long period date of the physical and psychological changes in postoperative breast cancer patients and lay the fandermation of the Nursing Care for Family Docters , https://www.51lunwen.org/kaitibaogao/ making the right interventions to improve the quality of life for Breast Cancer survivors.
Ⅳ Background
According to National Cancer Institute (NCI), Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in the United States (other than skin cancer). Each year in the United States, more than 192,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer.
There is a questionnaire survey conducted in 36 cases with breast cancer before and after the surgery. And after nursing intervention, the number of patients with physical and psychological problems decreased.
Ⅴ Plan of the study
Subject: 60 patients with Breast Cancer after surgery
Methods:
1、In the first year ,we will contact with patients every month and collect data by telephone interviews. The mental heath of patients are assessed by using Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS).And the physical heath of patients are assessed by a questionnaire designed by myself ,including pain after surgery, activity condition, sleep condition , diet, sexuality and so on. The condition of the physical heath will be recorded in description.
2、In the second ,data will be collected every 2 month.
3、After the survey , we will do the work of statistics. According to statistics,we will analyse and record the change of every patient.
Ⅵ Difficult Points and Solutions
As a long-term follow-up study,the long-term contact with patients will be a difficult problem. Solution:At the beggening,we should collect detailed information of every patient, including：the phone numbers of the patient himself and family members, as well as his intimates.  And renew the information every half a year.
Ⅶ Creative Points 
Many of the related surveys are mostly questionnaire survey which temporarily reflect the heath status of the patients.
