hold different opinions about it. According to Peter Newark (2000), the existence of culture overlap sometimes brings some problems in translation practice. It will be very difficult for the translator to find out some words in one culture which have exactly the same meaning and function as the original words do. Some ridiculous results may come if the words are not handled properly. Mona Baker (2000) remarks each ethic group can form its own culture and custom in its long history. Language is deeply influenced and some of them will carry some cultural meaning which will be regarded as a barrier to readers’ understanding. According to the expressions above, culture-loaded words are shaped on the diversity of cultures. Some Chinese scholars also realize the importance of culture-loaded words or cultural words. According to Jin Huikang (2002), each language has its own peculiar culture-loaded lexemes, which symbolize the history of the specific culture, religion, value system, customs, life modes and ways of thinking. One thing existing in one culture may not appear in another culture. Therefore, there is no equivalent to the expression of the thing in another language.
