Major Findings in this thesis: This thesis attempts to discuss the application of Skopostheory to EEE translation, which proves that Skopos theory is both a theoretical andpractical guidance to E-C translation of electrical engineering. In the previous parts, Whatis discussed in detail in this thesis is that the main conceptions and rules of Skopos theory,the characteristics of EEE from lexical, grammar and discourse levels, common mistakes ofEEE translation and the translation strategies of EEE under the guidance of Skopos theory.Therefore, some proper translation methods are put forward to direct the translation of EEEtexts.
