Moreover, citizen journalism also was concerned with the problems of less objectivity and reliability. It has been demonstrated that is being a channel of expressing personal emotionsand only can provide the reporter’s opinions of the news, but not the views of public (Mythen 2010, Ahva 2012).Therefore, the quality of citizen journalism is suspected and need to improve. To reflect the unlikelihood of public report, a research of Carr et, al (2014) sent out questionnaires to 184 respondents and found that the most of them are doubting the credibility of citizen journalism, and tend to trust professional news report more. The result of the research illustrate that professional news report got 6.27 scores in reliability and only 5.09 scores in skepticism. Nevertheless,compare to professional report, citizen report have 6.25 scores in incredibility and got lower that 5 scores in credibility. That means public though citizen journalism is not as trustworthy as professional journalism and it can because of the less objectivity of citizen reporters. Consequently, the efficiency of citizen journalism will be influenced because it cannot reach the journalism requirement of being objective.

For rising the efficiency and overcoming the above limitation, two purposeful suggestions should be considered which are education as well as supervision. First, educating the public to be a responsible citizen journalist is important and essential. Many people do not understand and pay attention at the importance of journalist’s principle. They may think that they are not the professionals so no one will blame on them, if they report the news incorrectly or untimely. Despite citizen reporters are the amateurs, they still have to observe the rules of professional journalism for ensuring the information can disseminate to audiences efficiently. Through adequate education and promotion, people can know more about the criterion of a good journalist and what they can do better. Beside education, supervising the report that from citizen journalists is also a significant action for preventingincredible information and slanderous rumours.Sometimes people may report news exaggeratedly and inaccurately for attracting audiences’ attention or presenting emotions. If without appropriate supervision to citizen journalism, some people may be defamed easily and have to suffer from emotional problem or damage of different aspect. Hence, the regulation of citizen journalism should be set up for improving that journalism to be more efficient and effective.

To conclude, base on the professional criteria, citizen journalism is a good and efficient journalism as it can show many difference of news to audiences quickly. Everything is a double-edged sword; sometimes it also has the problems of lower reliability and outdating information.
