The media’s impact is one of the major causes as to how the people have developed a certain stereotypical image about Arabs in their minds and about many other things in this world. This is called brainwashing and it is something that the media is very good at doing and has almost never failed to succeed at doing so. Problems of racial profiling caused by the media’s influence are catastrophic and very misleading to the people with weak souls who are unable to tell factual reasoning from pseudo reasoning. In other words, the media at every point has portrayed the image which its government has wanted depending on the time, whether it was the World War II, the Iraqi war the Palestinian war or even the war of Egypt with Israel.

 

Taking some time to gain more knowledge about other cultures breaches the gap of ignorance that people have regarding the differences that other people have got, as well as it opens new avenues for mutual understanding. People should allow themselves to learn more about the multiple and diverse cultures out there. As learning more about others and incorporating international studies into our daily lives could really help us integrate their views with ours in order to achieve a greater understanding of how things are meant to be. In order to learn their behavior more carefully are closely. Only after dealing with other people directly and observing who they truly are and how they think, will a person be able to know for him/herself what it is all about.
