4.1 Results of the Comparison From Stakeholders Standard
Table 4.1 and Table 4.2 summarize all the results of the inclusion of stakeholders of60 business schools. There are some similarities and differences for the inclusion ofmission statements of business schools between China and the US.There are some similarities and differences for the inclusion of stakeholders betweenthe mission statements of business schools in China and in the US.The table 4.1 shows that business schools both in China and in the US pay attention tothe specific stakeholders. Of which, the attention to the stakeholders of “customers” and“society” accounted for approximately 80%. Table 4.2 shows that the average numbers ofstakeholders of business schools in China and the US are 1.70 and 2.03, which showsslight difference. This indicates that business schools both in China and in the US attachgreat importance to the response to specific stakeholders.At the same time, there are some differences in certain specific stakeholders. Firstly,the attention degree to the employees between business schools in China and the US isdifferent. From Table 4.1, we know that no business schools in China pay attention to thespecific stakeholder--employees. While, 4 business schools in the US mention theemployees in the mission statements and those business schools regard the employees asimportant resources for the success of business schools. For instance, University ofChicago Booth School of Business mentions “Six of our faculty members have won NobelPrizes for these ideas - the first business school to achieve this accomplishment ” in themission statement, which indicates that they regard the faculty of their school as a proud.Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth Primary mentions “have a faculty of acknowledgedthought leaders who are outstanding teachers” in the mission statement, which make thestakeholder--employees (teachers) clearly be involved in the mission statement.

CONCLSION
