摘要:本文是英语词汇学论文,本文以多元智能理论、建构主义理论、儿童认知发展理论和人本主义理论为理论基础,以大连市松山小学六年一班和六年二班的学生为实验对象,将游戏教学法应用于小学英语词汇教学,并进行了对比研究。

In the game, participants should enjoy it and in the course of the activity, they are not only in the entertainment time, but also in the usual rest activity so that the learners can get the language through the activity in the course of the game.

2.2 Theoretical Basis
Game teaching approach has four theoretical foundations which are the theory of multiple intelligence, constructivism theory, theory of children cognitive development and humanism theory. Howard Gardner put forward multiple intelligence theory in 1983 and he divided people’s intelligence into nine kinds of intelligence. They are verbal-linguistic intelligence, music- rhythmic intelligence, body-athletic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, naturalist intelligence; and existent intelligence. He put forward a new view on education “individual centered education”, based on multiple intelligence and emphasized that the differences among people depended on the different combination of intelligence. We must acknowledged and developed all kinds of intelligence and intelligence combinations. We also must recognize the characteristics of each student and fully understand them, which could make the students get the better development. According to the multiple intelligence theory put forward by starting point of education is not how clever a person is, but how to make students become more intelligent, and the way in which students can become smarter. Education should create an educational environment for students that adapts to the individual differences, in order to greatly develop students’ all kinds of potential. The children also show great differences in the process of learning English, so teachers should set up the game activities, and appropriate apply it in classroom teaching according to the individual differences of students.
