4. Research Design

In  the  previous  chapters,  the  task-based  approach  with  its  significance  has  been presented  in  details.  Moreover,  the  relevant  literature  on  task-based  approach  in  English teaching  has  been  reviewed.  Based  on  the  traditional  teaching  method,  the  author  makes  a hypothesis  that  the  task-based  approach  into  the  present  vocabulary  teaching  could  improve the learners’ vocabulary learning. In this chapter, an experimental research will be exhibited. The  author  will  apply  the  combination  of  quantitative  and  qualitative  in  order  to  make  this experiment more scientific.  It  is  believed  that  the  Task-Based  Approach  has  been  a  major  and  useful  method  in language teaching and learning among researchers and teachers both at home and abroad.
