本文是一篇小学英语教学论文,根据小学英语阅读教学中问题设计的现状,作者认为教师首先应遵循适度、梯度、准确、灵活、清晰的原则。在这一原则的指导下,结合阅读材料、批判性思维技能的发展要求和学习情境的要求,在相应的阅读阶段设计了不同类型的问题。从学生的角度设计问题时,教师不仅要关注学生的学业水平,还要关注学生的兴趣爱好,更要关注学生的情感体验;在从教师的角度设计有效问题时,教师不仅要从“阅读活动的设计者”的角度,从“阅读探索的引导者”的角度进行设计,而且要从“阅读兴趣和能力提高的促进者”的角度进行设计。


Chapter One Introduction


1.1 Background of the research

In this part, the author elaborates the research background from three different aspectsin which the condition of the pupils’ critical thinking skills, the current situation ofquestion design and the significance of changing the question design in reading classare expounded.

With the continuous development of China’s politics, economy, science andtechnology and Education, the society has higher and higher requirements for talents.In particular, the demand for innovative talents is growing. The main characteristicsof innovative talents are innovative thinking and ability. China’s English teaching isalso closely following the development of the times, in English teaching to cultivateand improve students’ learning ability, thinking ability, innovation ability, practicalability and all the qualities as an innovative talent. Among these qualities, thinkingability determines the cultivation and development of other qualities. The knowledgeability and innovative spirit of an innovative talent is closely related to his ownspeculative ability. Due to the continuous development of speculative ability researchat home and abroad, more and more people pay attention to the cultivation ofspeculative ability. At the same time, people realize that the improvement of the levelof speculative ability plays a positive role in cultivating innovative talents and is alsoof great significance to social progress.

In 2017, the general high school English curriculum standard has deepenedand refined how to cultivate students’ English performance. It is mentioned that highschool English teaching should enable students to form four core qualities of languageability, cultural awareness, thinking quality and learning ability. Especially incultivating students’ core qualities, good thinking quality can highlight students’ psychological and wisdom characteristics. To improve students’ ability to analyze andsolve problems is inseparable from the cultivation of thinking quality. It is requiredthat teachers of English should design English learning and speculative activities withthe characteristics of comprehensiveness, connection and application according to thecurriculum and teaching content, so that students can master language knowledge,exercise language use and transfer ability, and improve students’ thinking qualitythrough classroom learning and activities. Through a series of comprehensiveactivities, students can independently acquire, interpret and judge the meaning of thetext, creatively express their own views and feelings, respect cultural diversity,correctly deal with cultural differences, and develop their diversified thinking andcritical thinking skills.


1.2 Purpose and significance of the research

English teaching requires students to have the ability of further analysis andcommunication in basic learning, especially in English reading learning.
