1. Before entering the Accounting firm, I gathered some information about the overall situation and working system of the company to get prepared for the coming work. Besides this, I spent several weeks in reviewing what I had learnt accounting, consulting data about the procedure of audit, consolidating my basic knowledge of audit. On the first day of my internship, I was nervous and constraint. Looking at my workmates busy doing their jobs and I myself had no chance to give a hand, I was a little awkward. But then, I realized that I should take it easy because I was just a newcomer needing more practice and I became calm. In the beginning, I started with the relatively task: fetching materials from the clients. These kinds of simple jobs only demanded me to be careful and patient. Gradually, I've built up my confidence in having a substantial internship.

2. Influenced by my diligence, my mentor said to me, 'Vigorous young guys like you have strong learning ability. You will learn a lot in our company. Do a good work.' All my uncertainty about my job had been swept away by pushfulness and passion. Then I took over jobs of auditing and submitting accounts for the company and its clients.

3. In addition to my own tasks, I also learned more about the constitution of institutions of accounting firms, responsibilities of all staff, operation procedures of different kinds of accounting, regulation of the industry from my mentor and other regular employees. Through more contacts, I was more familiar with my co-workers. I found many of them are qualified as certified public accountant, certified assets evaluator or certified tax accountant which made me have an admiration for them.

4. Before applying theory to practice, I thought I have rich professional knowledge of accountant and thus I should have no trouble in auditing. But practice taught me a lesson that the real work needs not only knowledge but also patience and carefulness. I mainly did some test jobs under the guidance of my mentor, and assisted in accomplishing the draft. Firstly, I looked up the materials given by clients including certifications, total accounts, detail accounts, schedule of fixed assets and so on. Then I took responses for confirming the certifications, especially those involved with large expenditure projects, depreciation projects and taxation projects. Also checking certifications is not difficult, but it's trivial and of great duty. After that, I participated in the formation and check of assets liabilities statements and balance of payments. All those jobs are scattered, but I gained plenty of experience.
