his research document consists of five chapters. Chapter 1 discusses the dilemma and which studies was carried out and in wide-ranging about foreign direct investment and the employment. Chapter 2 is regarding the
literature review and the theoretical framework is developed. In Chapter 3, the study document describes the
methodology adopted including information sources, authenticity and data collection descriptions are discussed. In chapter 4, the empirical data analysis and results are concluded on the basis of a statistical tool. Conclusions, discussion, implication and future research possibilities are drawn and necessary recommendations are suggested in chapter 5.
Research Hypotheses
In the research hypothesis development different propositions were being made to completely understand the gist of the problem. In the following hypotheses few hypotheses indirectly illustrate the effects. The following hypotheses are the research hypothesis.
H1: There is a significant positive impact of foreign direct investment on the employment
H2: There is a positive significant impact of foreign direct investment on the white collar job employment.
H3: There is a positive significant impact of foreign direct investment on the blue collar job employment.
H4: There is a positive significant impact of the foreign direct investment on the gross domestic product.
H5: There is a positive significant impact of employment on the gross domestic product.
CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW
The most imperative and attractive way to attract foreign investment holds the policy to reduce underemployment. Employment is basically depends upon the capital populated in a country. Shortage of capital is specifically populated in poor countries that lead to unemployment. Foreign direct investment is not criticized in Pakistan. Evaluating the drawbacks and advantages of FDI study needs to look at foreign direct investment policy of developed countries. The study of Blomstrom, Fors, and Lipsey (1997) is to find out the relation between foreign direct investments policy of United States and Sweden and the employment
strategy. Further find out the benefits of the foreign labor intensive production and home base labor incentive production by comparing US and Swedes FDI policy. Studies revealed the proposition between foreign affiliate production and parent employment in US multinationals with that in Swedish organization. In this methodology is concerned with the tasks of developing and applying quantitative methods to the study and elucidation of the phenomenon. Study revealed that US firms produce more of foreign output in developing countries, about 20% in 1994, compared with only 7% among Swedish firms. Whereas Swedish corporations operating internationally produce comparatively little in developing country and most of production has been an import-substituting trade regime for sale within host countries. US affiliates in developing countries appear to be much more a part of an allocation of the MNCs' production for world-wide markets to take advantage of factor price differences.
