摘要：China English is increasingly important in the publicity of China, and acceptedin the outsider world. At present, however, people in inner China still are confusedabout the concepts of China English and Chinese English. The attitude to ChinaEnglish is very obscure and uncertain.

Thirdly, it has Chinesefeatures.Li Wenzhong, doubts Wong’ s view, he strictly defines China English andChinese English from the academic aspect and he comes up with one definition:China English, by the means of transliteration and few Chinese borrowings havingentered the English languages and coming into communication, has typical Chinesecharacteristics in vocabulary ,syntax and text ,Standard English being the core ,andexpresses the very Chinese things ,without L1 interference.( Li , 1993)

2.2 Previous Research on Language Attitude
Language attitude, owing to the various aspects by researchers, has been givenvaried definitions. Language attitude is defined as favorable or unfavorableresponses to varieties of a single language, or different language, or speakingcommunity (Baker, Colin, 1992).In 2002, Obiols defines attitude as “mental disposition towards something”,which plays a role of bridge between opinion and behavior. According to Fishman,he divides the study of definition from two approaches. The first one is that languageattitude is defined in terms of their referents. In this senses, language attitudes are akind of opinions on languages, language varieties and language behavior. The otheris that language attitude is defined from the point of their consequences. Despite thedifference of these definitions, the common ground is that: attitude is not inborn butlearned from previous experience; that language attitude is not temporary butrelatively enduring.

5.1 Analysis of Language Attitude to China English
Quantitative analyses are introduced here. Percentage distribution, mean and modevalue are adopted to process the relative data. Language attitude includes three aspects:cognitive attitude, affective attitude and behavioral attitude. Cognitive attitude refers to individuals’ cognition, understanding, beliefs andevaluation. According to the mentalist’s opinion, attitudes include cognitivecomponent, which refer to an individual’s belief, opinions and evaluation. In Wang’sview, attitudes include cognitive, affective and behavioral attitude. Considering thecurrent situation, this study puts more emphasis on the investigation of cognitiveattitude to China English.The cognitive attitude towards China English firstly manifests in the answers ofeach question. The cognitive attitude of China English manifests in many tiers, suchas the phonology, the lexicon and the sentence. So first let’s analyze each questionrelating to cognitive attitude.
