Should children be required to attend school past the age of 18?

ABSTRACT

When a person is 18 years old, he should be considered as an adult. But in realistic life, many people who are 18 years –old people do not showing their adults’ characters. On the contrary, many of them are immature, sometimes are even childish. How to let them become mature quickly becomes a social attention problem. According to the viewpoint of the author, attend the school organized ceremony of past the age of 18 is a good choice, by the ceremony of past the age of 18, they can get many enlightenment including society, life, Education and so on, can feel themselves have been adults in their hearts, and this will he helpful to their growth and development.

Ⅰ Introduction
When a child is 18 years old, his physiology and psychology are gradually mature, and they can ensure their social and family rights and obligations which are given by the society and their family. “The ceremony of past the age of 18 is an important stage for the young people, and it is an important milestone for the children to realize the transition from children to adults. From the history of the world, the ceremony of past the age of 18 means https://www.51lunwen.org/canadathesis/2012/0216/0858249304.html that one person realize the transition from childhood to adulthood, and they began to have the national and people's corresponding right” (Peng Lin, 2006，pp71), and at the same time they also began to ensure the times given all of the burdens. With the pass of time, many people gradually abandoned the traditions and customs. Now, the disadvantages of giving up the ceremony of past the age of 18 are  revealing step by step, and the voice for calling the ceremony of pass the age of 18 are also appear at the same time. Under the background, some schools began to organize their students who are past the age of 18 to attend the ceremony of past the age of 18, and this behavior has obviously social and realistic significances, so children should be required to attend school past the age of 18.
