Conclusion
In recent years, linguistic researchers are beginning to pay attention to teachers’classroom discourse and its effect on students’ improvement of the target language. Atthe same time, researchers in methodology begin to seek the way out for Chineseforeign language teachers. Studies which combine these two aspects are all the moreinstructive. In the context of many years of grammar-translation teaching approach, itis high time that we should make changes and breakthrough.In this thesis, the difference of planned classroom questioning between noviceteachers and expert teachers is not fully explored. Teachers’ planning of the class isnot completely known to the author. The further study can have more in-depthinterview with the teachers involved.Due to the limited scope of subject, it is suggested the further study can involve more subjects into the research. And the choosing of subjects is supposed to be morerepresentative, with subjects from different regions at best.The relationship between question feedbacks and students’ improvement of oralproduction is also yet to be explored deeply in a scientific manner. It is longcontroversial as to which kind of feedback is more beneficial. The author will makemore effort to study on that and expect others’ research fruit at the same time
In this chapter, the author reviewed the research method, questions, findings, andimplications. Based on the findings, the author gave some suggestions to youngnovice teachers. In the end, the author listed the limitations of this study, and raisedsome suggestions for further study. Owing to the limited time, there are still a lot ofproblems which have been neglected. Therefore, further studies are expected to becarried out to complement this thesis in the coming days.
