摘要:本文分析了在中国的背景下其他地区CLT教学模式的发展。

中国传统的教学方法主要是考虑词汇学习和词汇量,文本阅读以及语法规则的学习等。

What is primarily considered in traditional teaching methods is vocabulary learning, text reading, grammatical rules learning etc. These approaches seldom focus on the practical participation of the learners in class. In china, the new high school course clearly stated that the new educational goal of English teaching is to encourage the training of communicative ability of students, aiming to highlight the competence of practical application of the language in solving communicative problems. What coincides with this approach is the method of “cooperative learning”, which focuses on the cooperation between the teacher and the learners to accomplish a learning/teaching task. The so-called “cooperative learning” is a special learning method that was initialed in the United States in the 1970s. It was then introduced to China in the 1980s and was then proved to be very effective in promoting the general competence of English learners.

This approach pays special attention to task implementation between learning groups within the classroom environment, encouraging the cooperative spirit between/among group members. In order to make students become real communicators, the teacher is required to play a lot of different roles. He is a facilitator that encourages the learners; he is an organizer, assuming the responsibility of instructing the whole process of the classroom interaction; he is also a monitor that corrects the mistakes of utterances; finally, he is also a partner who participates in the whole teaching and learning activity. 在这个案例中,笔者在来自个人教学经验的基础上对8B1号机组的主要任务进行分析发现,中国高中教学大纲的教学方法有一些实际应用上的改进办法。

In this case study, the author will present a practical application of the teaching method that is derived from the personal teaching experience based on the teaching syllabus of 8B Unit 1 Main Task of senior high school in China. 


At the beginning of the class, the author divided the whole class into 4 groups in order to organize the classroom interactive activity. In each group, there is an organizer, a recorder and a supervisor. The overall task of the class is to discuss the topic of “the change of time necessarily leads to development”, aiming to train the students’ ability of analysis. During the whole process, there are many sub-tasks that are placed in different sections. These sub-tasks are: a. to describe two pictures taken in different times; b. to guide the learners think about the details of the picture; c. to write a short article clarifying the differences between the two pictures and d. to finish a report. In order to finish the task successfully, the author told the students to prepare two different pictures before the class.
