一、选题目的的理论价值和现实意义

American society pay attention to individual rights and interests and freedom; But Chinese society pay attention to moral life and interpersonal interdependence. Among them is the characteristics of marriage. Admittedly, with the development of society and the Chinese and western culture fusion, the understanding of the marriage is changing. But the basic idea still has not changed, for a nation to be    forever in the world, not only should have the ability to adapt the trend of the   develop, but alsoto keep their own cultureand social features.

A large number of scholars and specialists have made great effort to study differences in marriage between America and China at home and abroad.
