6.1 Issues That Should Be Clarified
The above thesis has already mentioned some principal points of the related theories aswell as has displayed the several characteristics of legal English. They are of parallelrelationship regarding to the structure. As for discussing the feasibility, the tiiesis assumesusing CAT software as a platform to create a totally different and new autonomous learningenvironment for college students studying English, especially the study of legal English, andsubsequently exploring the feasibility, namely,the possibility of turning it to be true. Thechoice of using CAT theory and software as the autonomous learning platform to create atotally different environment for college students is the creativity point as it is often andwidely used in the field of translation. Also, the study of legal English mainly pays attentionto the study of its translation, such as the meaning of special terms and specific sentences, andmost importantly, the English to Chinese translation instead of the vise versa in Chinamainland. Moreover, the selection of legal English is closely related to its features such asfixed format and terms, repetitive sentences etc.,and the thesis mainly focus on thediscussion of feasibility, namely,possibility of using CAT theory and software in college legalEnglish autonomous learning instead of demonstrating the assessment, method and futuredevelopment in this field,which are left for the future research and development, therelationship among the above three perspectives can be best explained as the following figureshows:

It is evidently that this method will be a good choice of improving students' autonomouslearning ability in legal English due to much exposure and penetration for students in studyinglegal English.
