Personal Statement
I would like to apply for a place in Human Resource Management in the Oxford Brookes University. Human Resource Management is the field to which I find myself intensely attracted. In my opinion, Human Resource Management is going to play very important role in the globalization of market environment, goods and servers, which can result in the huge needs for the talent of Human resources management. Taking the above background into consideration, I have made up my mind to work in the Human Resource Management field in future. Owing to the Human Resource Management programmer offered at the University of Oxford Brookes with the theories, concepts, and techniques in relevance to the practice of Human Resource Management，I am quite convinced that this programmer is exactly tailored for me at postgraduate level. There lies the reason why I choose your university as an ideal place to further my education.
After admitted into Harbin Normal University, I have tried my best to pursue a better achievement in my studying and got a GPA of around 80, which brings me the first-class scholarship and the third-class scholarship once respectively and has laid a solid language foundation to learn in UK. To accumulate the knowledge of HRM, I also have taken part in all kinds of the lectures, seminars, and coursework and read a lot of books on Human Resource Management.
The colorful university life should not be comprised of academic study only. In order to develop leadership, interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, I am playing very active roles in many social activities outside class, for example, gymnastic and table tennis club, English speeches competition held by faculties, and debates held by school forums regarding English issues. Furthermore, In order to accumulate my practical experience, I have worked as an intern in the foreign bank with my strong English capability. Working experiences in the real society made me realize that apart from a good command of English, I have to master skills of a certain specialty such as specific Human Resource Management application in order to make good preparation for future study.
