This management strategy was not conducive to the smooth progress of the project, it increased the difficulty of the developer in coordinating the interests of all parties and it was very unfavorable for building a relationship of trust among all stakeholders. The author put forward the following recommendations for the management on how to take proactive management policy better in future to reduce the frequency of occurrence of conflict and the possibility of intensification of conflict. First, the management should remain consistency to win the trust of stakeholders. Second, the management should earnestly abide by and fulfill their commitments to the various stakeholders. Third, it should strengthen communication with the stakeholders and avoid hiding the truth. Fourth, it should care for stakeholders by really finding out stakeholders’ difficulties to provide assistance, and helping them to better integrate into the team.
The fourth research question explores how stakeholder management of BJ project should balance the conflict between long-term interests and short-term interests, in order to improve the corporate image in public. Considering from the stakeholders management of BJ project, both the government and the developer are primarily concerned about the short-term interests of the project while ignoring long-term interests. This stakeholder management strategy will not help the developer to establish a good social image and public relations, as well as get a long-term support from the stakeholders of the project. In this study, the author brought forward the following recommendations for the project developer of BJ project to better identify and maintain long-term interests, so as to improve the corporate image in public. Firstly, it should establish an environmental management system (EMS), taking targeted measures to reduce the short and long-term effects of the construction project on the environment. Second, the developer should try to establish a good cooperative, win-win relationship with its customers to win a good reputation for itself. Finally, the developer should establish a good relationship with the local community and residents, through getting the support from the local community and residents for the construction project to get a better social image and public relations.
The fifth question is to discuss how stakeholder management of BJ project should carry out sustainable management in order to reduce energy consumption and reduce the impact of pollution caused by construction work on local natural environment and living environment. Judging from stakeholder management of BJ project, the management did not pay attention to the impact of the construction project on the local environmental, nor did them pay attention to the use of green technology. The author suggests for how management of BJ project better carry out sustainable management better in order to reduce energy consumption and reduce impact of pollution arising from the construction work on the local natural environment, the living environment that first of all, they should deal with waste disposal and utilization to reduce environmental pollution caused by the project.
