Introduction
With the development of the Internet, music industry has been impacted heavily, the sale of CD decreases year by year. In the era when entertainment industry is diverse, how to maintain and develop the potential profitability of live concert is a problem which is worth considering by the whole music industry.
This Marketing plan is developed for Westlife’s live concert in London in 2011, the aim is to attract more potential fans to watch the show.
1.0 Situation analysis
Today when the Internet and other new media have an increasing impact on the traditional recorded music industry, live concert indeed reveals more vitality. Data showed that worldwide live music revenues kept on increasing for many years (as shown in Figure 2).Westlife, an Irish man singing group which was established in 1998 and became popular in Ireland and Britain, in Africa, Australia and Asia, the group was also welcome. During the past years, they have gained very good results in live concert.
1.1 External analysis
