oving the awareness of research and promoting the professionaldevelopment through the subject research on English teachers’ effective classroomteaching behaviors in junior middle school.From the perspective of research methods, it chooses the methods ofquestionnaire and classroom observation to collect valuable and valid data. In themeantime, the paper is aimed at finding out the potential problems that exist inpractical English classroom teaching in junior middle school and accordinglyproposing the holistic and concrete strategies for the improvement of the effectivenessof classroom teaching behaviors for English teachers based on the data analysiscollected form questionnaires and classroom observation. And during the process ofpaper writing, there are some aspects that are needed to have a further optimizationbecause of the limitation of personal knowledge, ability and research conditions.What's more, English classroom teaching behaviors are dynamic, thus the behaviorsthe research mentioned just involves the three main teaching behaviors, which arepresentation behaviors, dialogue behaviors and guidance behaviors. And the design ofboth questionnaires and classroom scale bases on the three main classroom teachingbehaviors. As a consequence, the reliability and validity of the research need to befurther enhanced.
