摘要:本文是初中英语教学论文,本文作者从 2016 年 9 月到 12 月在河北邢台威县贺钊中学展开实验。实验对象由 90 个学生组成。学生来自于八年级的两个班级,一个做实验班一个做控制班,前提是其它的变量都得到控制。
ChapterⅠ Introduction
1.1 Background of the study
Recent advances in technology have unlocked entirely new directions for education research. With the wide application of internet and computer technology to the education field, the flipped classroom promotion is no longer just an armchair strategist. There are lots of online education appearing, and the flipped classroom is among them. The Internet provides the flipped classroom with the technical support. The flipped classroom is a new pedagogical method, which employs asynchronous video lectures and practice problems as homework, and active, group-based problem solving activities in the classroom. The flipped classroom is a new teaching model that is teachers recording videos and students watching the videos by using of computers, ipads and mobile phones out of class, and they get together to communicate and discuss the homework in class and then achieve learning goals. These learning styles are all based on science and information technology. The “English curriculum standard” (2011a) stresses, “English course should face all of the students, and we should concentrate on quality education.” Recent calls for educational reform highlight ongoing concerns about the current curricula. Whereas a wide range of proposed solutions attempt to address apparent deficiencies in current educational models, a growing body of literature consistently points to the need to rethink the traditional in-class, lecture-based course model. Ongoing concerns about the quality of higher education have prompted numerous calls for reform, drawing attention to the need to transform traditional curricula to better prepare students for success in today’s global economy. New curriculum reform is a reform of the contemporary knowledge education, and the start of the reform is from the classroom, and the classroom is the main battlefield of the educational reform. It is a main place for teachers teaching .The improvement of classroom teaching method is a power can promote teacher’ ability and creativity.

1.2 Significance of the Present Study
The flipped classroom teaching model provides a new method for the junior high school English teaching. It is the subversion that the traditional teaching models will flip the English classroom teaching
