5.1.1 Number of Pre-test Lexical Chunks
In order to explore the specific influence of lexical chunks teaching on junior highschool students'writing,the researcher used descriptive statistics and independent sampleT-tests in SPSS to analyze the number of lexical chunks used in students'writing.First,before the experiment,the researcher conducted a pre-test in two classes.The purpose was tofind out the use of lexical chunks in the English writing of the students in both classes.After the grading writing was completed,the number of lexical chunks was recorded by theresearcher in students’pre-test writing through Excel.The specific analysis is shown in Table5.1 below.

6.1 Main Findings
This chapter makes a statistical analysis of the sorted writing test data and questionnaireresults,and systematically answers the key question raised in this study.According to all theabove analysis,it can be seen that the lexical chunks teaching does have many positiveeffects on students'writing.And it is not only reflected in the relatively intuitive writingliteracy of students'writing scores and the number of lexical chunks,but also proved by thechanges in students'writing attitudes,writing strategies,and personal qualities.On thecontrary,under the guidance of traditional writing teaching,the improvement of writingliteracy in all aspects of the control class is not very obvious.It can be seen that through thesystematic acquisition,internalization,and practice of lexical chunks,students can freelytransform their theoretical knowledge into practical writing.And further discussion andexplanation of the experimental study are as follows.
