1.0 Introduction
In the network environment, global sharing of resources has become an irreversible trend, and online access to books has become the urgent needs of users’. Google Book Search based on full-text search emerges in this context. Google Book Search makes people’s desire of having a more equal and convenient access to information and knowledge of books possible. In a sense, Google Book Search can be taken as a new model of development of digital libraries, which has broken the old patterns of development of a library to establish the new model of multilateral cooperation and inter-regional cooperation among libraries, publisher and information firms, going further to achieve the true ‘resource sharing’ (Green, 2003). However, in this process, copyright issues make this new model of establishment of digital libraries be in trouble, every step of its development is very difficult, or it is even stopped. Copyright becomes the key to restrict the development of this model. Search engine helps users with searching for the content they need as quickly as possible in a huge repository of information on the Internet through technological means, that is, it is a new form of online media which makes uses of automatic acquirement to collect the information resources on the Internet and prepare for searching. Search engine has become the most effective way for people to make use of network resources, its appearance enables the vast majority of users search for the information they need in website information quickly and easily. Operators of information websites use the technology to connect websites or even the content of information of other websites together to achieve the purpose of sharing information resources, which greatly facilitates the online users. However, at the same time, some websites provide free download without the permission of copyright owners’, and through this technology of linking, they expand the scope of infringement, although it has facilitated network consumers, the interests of copyright owners’ has suffered heavy losses. With the deepening understanding of the problem, search engine will face even more severe situation, how to analyze and solve the problem of copyright of search engine has a profound necessity for the development of online media (Allgrove, 2007). 2.0 Discussion
