Conclusion


Furthermore,the implications for the implementation of cooperative learning andFirstly, the teacher should design interesting tasks which could arouse thelearners' interests each time,as well as appropriate difficult levels, from theinterviews, it can be seen that, the topic of the task is very significant, memberswould take part in the activities more actively of the topic is interesting, thus theresearcher should take the advice from the students when designing task each time,and offer students more choices.Secondly, learners' autonomous abilities were cultivated in the process of theintervention. Learners were required to write the portfolios regularly to note downtheir learning plans and strategies, thus they had formed the habit of making learningplans, moreover, every member would be responsible for a part of the task in theactivities every time, members would leam and prepare for his or her own taskactively and autonomously because of the team spirit,so that the learners form thehabit now, and even the method is expanded to be used in other subjects. Thirdly,based on the results of the survey, many students were inclined to the formativeassessment that is assessing the students not only the teacher himself or herself, butthe students themselves, other students. In this way, a multi-dimensional assessmentsystem could be developed.In summary, learners did respond positively to the integrated application offormative assessment and cooperative learning,it is a student-centered teachingmethod and assessment system, with which the teacher could stimulate learners'motivation and get feedback in time so as to make appropriate modifications.
Although the study concluded the expected results, the effects of cooperativelearning and formative assessment have not been made into full play,in light of theimplications and limitations of the study, some suggestions are made in the futurestudy. Firstly,the numbers of the samples should be large enough and with goodvalidity and reliabilities. Secondly, the researcher could apply this method to othersubjects in order to explore the effectiveness.
