5.1 Students’ Acquisition on Three Types of ERC
Through analyzing the statistics of two questionnaires, the author can get whichtype of ERC are best acquired and which one are worst. The results will be showed inthe following part.Frequency Analysis of Three types of ERCIn the previous chapter, the thesis mentioned that the data is collected from 100junior non-English major college students. Among these 100 questionnaires, 86 ofthem are valid and 14 are invalid. Some participants finish the half of thequestionnaire, choose the same answer to all the questions, or only answer some ofthe questions and leave other questions blank.Specifically, the results of the first questionnaire are shown in the table 1, for thesake of finding out which type of ERC is more acceptable for the college students.Because of some invalid questionnaires, the total number of the three choices for eachquestion item is 86. The table 5.1 shows the frequency of each choice for eachquestion item which are categorized into three types of ERC.
