摘要:本文是英语语言学论文,本论文的启示有:1)试卷设计者应扩大 PRETCO-B 考试听力理解类型的多样性并且应用更多真实和自然的日常生活和涉外事宜的听力材料;2)不同主题和题材的听力材料应该在平时训练中提供给学生们。
Firstly, in light of data gathered from 16 questions in the questionnaires which investigate both the teachers’ and students’ opinions and attitude towards the listening comprehension of PRETCO-B (2008-2013), the face validity of the test is demonstrated. The gathered data shows that 93% teachers and 83% students show general content to the format of the listening comprehension in PRETCO-B (2008-2013) and are convinced that the listening comprehension subtest has high face validity. Therefore, listening subtest is a necessary part of the PRETCO. Secondly, according to documentary analysis, this dissertation draws a conclusion that the content validity of the listening comprehension in PRETCO (2008-2014) is basically high. This conclusion is revealed by the studying from three aspects: the content relevance, content coverage and the appropriateness of the test content. 1) We can see to what extent the listening subtest in PRETCO-B is correlative to the Curriculum Requirements in terms of content relevance. The content relevance is in accordance with the Basic Curriculum Requirements; 2) The content coverage reveals if the listening subtest paper covers all main aspects are involved and in advisable proportions of specified requirements to be examined. The content coverage is not enough in some aspects. Hence, in order to better the content validity, it is advisable to take various methods.3) The appropriateness of the test content has been analyzed from four aspects.
