摘要:本文是英语语言学论文,本文以关系管理理论为基础,对不同意言语行为进行了再分类,分析了不同意的三种关系倾向及其影响因素。文章揭示了不同意言语行为的更多特征,其研究成果可以应用于不同控制条件下说话人倾向的研究上,对跨文化、二语习得等方面研究也有一定借鉴作用。

This feature of disagreement reminds us that, the utterance forms and speaking strategies of disagreement speech acts not only rely on face and context, but also closely related to the interactional goals. Under different kinds of communicational contexts, the expectations of the outcome of accomplish disagreement speech acts are different. According to the varied expectation, interlocutors might choose different or even totally contradictory speaking strategies ranking from avoidance to strongly disagreeing. So the rapport orientation for disagreement speech acts should be checked at the first place.

Conclusion
This chapter will summarize the findings, providing a general conclusion of the thesis. Features of the refined taxonomy will be further developed and explained in this part. The limitations are discussed and suggestions for future research will also be given.The thesis stared from the definition of disagreement speech acts, and revealed the complexity of disagreement. The complicated factors in disagreement speech acts were considered multi-directional in the thesis. There existed many obstacles in disagreement’s study lacking of criterion to assess the concept of “polite” in disagreement. Though politeness is defined as “socially right and proper”, the evaluation depends on interlocutors’ judgment. The judgments made by speaker influenced by the communicational contexts and the interlocution goals for speaker. The two factors related to linguistic, social and cultural factors, like power and distance between the two interlocutors, the expectation, cost and benefit of making offence, and so on. The thesis proposes that differing from many other speech acts, disagreement is a transitional speech act. Speaker usually has the further interactional goals based on the expression of disagreement. The rapport orientations were introduced to be the standards to indicate the interactions of all the elements. They coordinated three dimensions in disagreement, the face management, the sociality rights and obligations and the interactional goals.
