Shenzhen,the city is the high-tech and manufacturing hub of southern China, home to the world's fourth-busiest container port, and the fourth-busiest airport on the Chinese mainland. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. The high-tech, financial services, modern logistics and cultural industries are mainstays of the city. New industries of strategic importance and modern service industries are quickly becoming new engines for the city's economic growth. In the future, Shenzhen will speed up the construction of large-scale port, highway, railway and airport infrastructure, to build the logistics parks into a healthy, modern 3D transportation system with an international sea, air port and railway hinge as the core, and a convenient highway network as the support; secondly, Shenzhen will re-organize the construction mechanism of logistics parks, improve their construction, appropriately expand the parks according to the needs of economic development, set up investment industrial groups with certain scale for logistics park construction, and gather a batch of key logistics projects with strategic meanings; thirdly, Shenzhen will build up the all-in-one logistics operation and multimodal transportation (sea, air, railway, and highway) with park-port joint operation and bonded logistics centers as the breakthrough, especially propelling the transformation of port-side logistics parks towards international supply chain service bases.
