摘要:本文是英语阅读论文,作者在两个平行班中进行了为期一个学期的教学实验。在实验班,教师实行多模态阅读教学,教学步骤均根据多模态设计元素理论以及多模态课堂设计最大效果原则设计,控制班实行普通多媒体辅助教学。
As is mentioned in the last chapter, in the experiment, the two parallel classes are chosen according to the reading scores in the final of last term. The reading test in the final is the pretest. The reading scores of all students in the two classes are collected and the data was analyzed by the software SPSS 16.0. In order to see if there is significant difference of students’ reading ability between the two classes, the Independent Samples Test was carried out and the following tables are the result. From the first table, it can be seen that the mean of reading scores of the experimental class is 22.609 while that of the control class is 21.264. They are different only by 1.4points, which shows the difference between the two classes is very tiny. The result in the second table proves the conclusion again. In this type of test, if the Sig.(2-tailed) Value is lower than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is significant difference between the two classes. However, if the Sig.(2-tailed) Value is equal to or higher than 0.05, things will be different and the conclusion will be the total opposite side. In this test, the Sig.(2-tailed) Value is 0.175>0.05, meaning there is no difference between the scores of the two classes.
