[摘一要]For the Chinese versions of Hamlet,Liang Shiqiu’s and Zhu Shenghao’s translations can becalled the classic.Because the two great translators have their own choices,their versions differ alot.In the translating process,translator’s subjectivity plays an important role and it is one of themajor reasons for emerging different translation.The thesis mainly talks about Liang Shiqiu’s and ZhuShenghao’s different versions from the perspective of translator’s subjectivity by comparison.

A person’s experience，living environment，character，prefer-ence，and so on influence his/her translation.That is the so-calledtranslator’s subjectivity.Just for translator’s subjectivity，differenttranslators give us different versions.

ⅠTranslator’s Subjectivity and its Roles in Translating

It seems that no unanimous definition of translator’s subjectivityand no systematic cognition of it have been taken in the translationcircle.Here gives Li Zhanxi’s defination.1）When processing correc-tly the optimal relevance to the author’s communicative intention inDICP，and 2）When guided by this optical relevance，consciously ad-justing his linguistic choices to the target audience by ensuring theircognitive consonance.

In the course of translation，the translator plays many subjectiveroles.A translator is a reader of the original text.A translator is calleda decision-maker.Besides，another subjective role of the translator isa researcher.The last but not the least，a translator is a substitute.

ⅡLiang Shiqiu’s and Zhu Shenghao’s Different Experiences

The thesis makes comparisons between Liang Shiqiu’s and ZhuShenghao’s translation，so here introduces them.Liang Shiqiu wasborn in January，1903，in Beijing，died on November 3rd，1983 inTaiwan.He entered Tsinghua University in 1915，and during hislearning time，he began his writing career.At the beginning，he advo-cated Romanism，and published many poems.When he studied inHoward University，he was greatly influenced by humanistic learner—Bai Bide.Since then，he advocated that one should compose fromthe human nature under the leading of sense.

Zhu Shenghao is famous for his translation of Shakespeare.Hewas born in a declined merchant family in Jiaxing of Zhejiang provincein 1912.Although he lived in poverty，he got splendid result in study.He entered Zhejiang Jiaxing University，majoring in Chinese litera-ture，at the same time studying English.

ⅢComparisons between two Versions of Hamlet

In the part，the thesis makes comparisons between Liang Shiqiu’s and Zhu Shenghao’s versions of Hamlet.

1、Liang Shiqiu’s Notes to Literary Quotations and Zhu She-nghao’s Translations of Allusions

The most obvious difference between Mr.Liang’s and Mr.Zhu’sversions lies in their treatment to those sentences which are obscure inmeaning or contains complicate words.

Hamlet.Not so，my lord；I am too much I’th’sun（.Shakespear-e 33）

哈：不是的，殿下：我受的阳光太多了。（tr.Liang 35）

注：约翰孙引证俗语：“出天堂，晒太阳”（out of heaven’sblessing into the warm sun）云云，谓由良好境遇踏入较劣之环境，哈姆雷特此处所谓“受太阳太多”或即指此。Sun与son音相似，或亦有双关意，译文但求通顺，其内韵之意义需于言外求之，因原文及晦涩难解也。（Liang 298）
