Abstract
ERP system failure is a common phenomenon in China. ERP as a flag of modern management tool, its advantage attracts more and more enterprises to deploy ERP system in their enterprises. Medium-size and small enterprises are the main force in this wave of ERP deployment. All the enterprises have the expectation that the ERP system will helpful to improve the performance of their enterprises. Unfortunately, many of the ERP project have the result of failure. There are many reasons for the ERP failure in China.
A questionnaire designed in this research to collect information in the process of ERP project from the system analysis stage to system running stages. Via the questionnaire, I found the elements for ERP failure in China. Some advices proposed at the end of this research with purpose to help deploy a successful ERP system.

1 Introduction
The human society has entered the information period. The development of information technology accelerates the process of enterprise modernization and informatization. The integration of information technology and management Science promotes the formation of modern enterprise management technology. Enterprise management involves enterprise operate stratagem, operate objective, organization and culture, manufacturing resources, capital and cost, technology and production developing, production planning and control (Haug, 2010). The objective of modern enterprise management is to manage the operating and production reasonable, make the maximal use of equipments, resource, workers and technology, and get the maximum profit by utilization of modern management model and computer information system.
