1. Introduction
1.1 Background
Slums which symbolize urban poverty can be seen everywhere, and the existence of slums depends on a number of factors, such as high-speed growth of rural migrants, the worsening urban poverty and unsafe land tenure rights as well as the globalization. Among them, the rural population extensively entering the city is the most important factor. According to statistics, since the 1950s, the developing countries’ rural population fell about 20-30%. Comparing to the rapid and vast rural migrants, urban planning and urban management system can't adapt to the new population, which will accelerate the formation of slums.
