Lean production is the third milestone in the history of human industrialization. It is a revolutionary way of production management and practice. Its core idea is to reduce waste and create highly flexible and efficient production system. It represents the development direction of modern manufacturing industry, known as the manufacturing standards of production in the 21st century (Shar, 2007).
This report involves in a case study to evaluate and recommend key change management steps to be undertaken by the KEC Company embarking on a new lean programme. The current state of the manufacturing system is assessed and a vision for the future of the company is also demonstrated.

1. Introduction
