2. Literature Review 

2.1 Previous Research on George Orwell and AnimalFarm     
George Orwell is a miracle figure in British literature in the 20th century. Relying on Animal Farm and 1984, he established his position in the world literature. George Orwell and his master work, Animal Farm has been popular  with the western world.  However, in China they  were left out in the cold for  a long time.  Until 1978, they  gradually  became concerned. 2.2 Previous Research on Ideology 
The  term  of  ―ideology  was  first  put  forward  by  French  philosopher  Destutt  De  Tracy in 1796. Later, lots of philosophers, thinkers and statesmen gradually begin to use this concept. And it is applied to different academic backgrounds, which makes its domain expand and its nature change. At last, it produces different categories and types. In  Tracy’s  eyes,  it  is  a  neutral  term,  namely,  its  meaning  is  just  ―the  science  of ideas——refers to the knowledge about the origin and boundary of the notion, the possibility and reliability of the cognition. So it belongs to the category of epistemology. Marx  and  Engels  in  German  ideology  (1960)  pointed  out  the  unreality  of  ideology, which was a kind of ―false consciousness, also said the ideology on the falsity of cognition and the hypocrisy of benefit. Marx and Engels revealed about the nature of the ideology. It is greatly  significant  for  literary  creation  and  translation  activities,  especially  literary  criticism and translation criticism activities in the society  with different class.
